Trina 2.0

Three years ago I started this blog.  Just for me!  Not one I told anyone about and was going to use it as a mental diary... mental... as in sometimes I can be mentally draining!  Ironic that it is titled what it is because now my entry goes with how messy I really am!  I am messy in my mind... my home and my body!  From here on I will be addressing the body portion... which might then address some of the other mess in my life.

Today I started Isagenix.  My friend Jamie sells it and I have a few friends who use it.  I purchased it through my friend Shelly as I have watched her positive changes via FB and our life together over the last few months.  It fits into her busy working and family life. Wondered how it would fit into my chaotic SAHM life.  Will it give me the kick in the ass I need to:
  • start a healthier diet
  • get the nutrients I need but never seem to take any of the supplements I buy (latest was my Ubiquitol purchase a week ago)
  • start exercising
  • address my fatigue issues and feeling like my brain can't focus
  • health issues (headaches every day, joint pain, sinus issues)
  • body and weight changes I would like to see... but do little about
Will these changes happen just because I bought a single box (30 day supply) of Isagenix products?  I am not sure.  Join me in my own little science experiment!  Yep...I am going to journal this 30 day journey and see what changes happen... what doesn't... and where I should go from here.

I know what a 1200 calorie diet with light exercising will do for me.  I will lose 1-2 lbs a week.  It is not a huge call to action.  I have to count all my calories (in my phone with the app that I use) and try to remember to exercise which doesn't always happen.  So how will this change things?  I will still be consuming about 1200 calories and doing 20-30 minutes of exercise each day.  Let's see...

Starting!  I weigh 143.8 lbs today.  Not huge but I am flabby and would like to be back down 15+ lbs like I was a couple years ago.

Measurements (I will only journal this once a week)
Arm - 12"
Waist - 35 1/2" (can you believe I used to be a 27" waist)
Butt/hip - 41"
Thigh - 24"
Calf - 14"

I woke up this morning in my usual fog of fatique!  Tired!  As tired as when I went to bed last night at 11:00.  I got a rough 8 hours of sleep (awake and back to sleep all night).

Headache was there but not too horrible today.  shew!

Mood was fine so far.  But very forgetful!  Lost my cell phone within the first 30 minutes.

I did my shake first... oops, did this in the wrong order on day #1!  Supposed to do Ionic Supreme first. A shot of that on an empty stomach is supposed to boost your energy and your mind.  Dang it!  Screwed up on day #1!  And realized I need to buy a Magic Bullet because I cannot get these shakes blended enough.  So I gulped down a chocolate shake that was a bit... um ... chunky.  Still not awful.  I took my accelerator pill and was good to go.  Not hard.

Now it is lunch time and I want to eat.  Yep... want food!  But not going to.  Going to try and mix up another one of these shakes for lunch.  250 calories each.  So that is 500 calories plus 2 of their snack wafers this mid morning.  Will check in tonight and see how it is then.

Please keep me going... funny words, questions, thoughts.  I need to be accountable knowing my friends are watching or I will stray.  I am easily distracted, people!

Ok so I bet you make it a whole week before your kids start looking like, "the perfect snack". LOL, I must admit, I have always thought of you as the perfect size so lets see what happens. Guess I will be happy with the results no matter what happens. Win Win!!

You can do it!!!
Can you have the shakes frozen? That way you could sorta "eat" them instead of drinking, and that way "mentally" you did get to eat food?

So is this an all shake system? For how long? Sounds rough! I love my "real food". Good luck Trina!

Not a liquid diet! I do drink two shakes instead of "meals" a day but get one real meal (breakfast, lunch or dinner) plus snacks (up to three if I need). That is just for one month. Then I will be one shake a day and try and continue 5-6 total meals/snacks a day. It is also accelerators, metabolism boosters and such.
