Are there healthy fried pickles? I mean really I need that recipe! Because I have remained strong and really had not big faultering moments... until the waitress carried a plate of fried pickles at the Wooden Nickel right under my nose last night. And apparently they have a slight "kick" to them which was super duper appealing. THAT WAS HARD! Maybe the quivering lip of wishing beyond wish I could have one. I am sure I could have one single one but it would have been twice as hard to not try a second.... a third...
Just found this baked recipe... pork rinds? Really... what is that and why would I want it in my "fried" pickels?
But the reward was getting up and losing 0.2 more pounds! Yeah! No major suffering. I took the leftovers from the night before and shredded the chicken with the sauce. I put that on top of lettuce wraps and it was yummy that way! Then made a batch of low calorie popcorn to eat as a snack with the kids as we played games (and waited for the roads to become drivable so Shawn and I could go out). I am not sure how to find the calories for popcorn. Anybody else?
Sinus headache again today. Sleepy but doing okay. About to do my shake.
Busy day today with two 100 day of school projects to get completed, shop for basketball shoes for Nicolas and then his first game at 2:30. Then Lexi's third ice skating lesson at 4:30. Trying to see if we could find a movie to go see after that but it is slim pickings for movies after 3:00 unless we drive to the Chase with the kids to see Hugo at 6:15. Seems crazy. But you never know. Probably rent something and come home.
Hope you guys have a healthy, happy and harmonious Saturday! I am welcoming 50 degrees tomorrow and starting my exercise portion of my 2.0 life on Monday!
